Man claims he's discovered creepy furry metal 'UFO' on remote trail
Justin Clontz said he and a coworker were working on grounds maintenance at Glamping Collective in North Carolina when they found the "once in a lifetime" UFO made of heavy-duty metal with fur around the edges
by Ewan Gleadow, Ewan Gleadow · Irish MirrorA North Carolina man is adamant that he's stumbled upon a UFO, complete with heavy-duty metal and mysterious fur, in what he believes is a bizarre extraterrestrial encounter.
Justin Clontz, who works at Glamping Collective in Haywood County, couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted what he describes as a "once in a lifetime" find while on the job. The luxury campsite reportedly became the landing spot for a massive unidentified flying object, an event Justin characterised as not your everyday occurrence.
Justin was "just as shocked as to what it was". In utter disbelief, Justin recounted: "It's once in a lifetime you know, it don't happen every day."

He and a coworker came across the object on a secluded trail near Canton. The photos Justin took reveal what appears to be a burnt carbon fiber shell and robust metal plates bolted together, with odd bits of fur attached to its edges.
Due to its weight, Justin had to haul the object out of the area. In order to retrieve it, he ended up having to get a lawnmower to drag it from the area.
Chatting with WLOS, Justin detailed his unconventional removal method: "I just tied a rope to it and drug it out with a lawn mower. It's a one in a million chance that it lands, especially if it landed somewhere off the trail in the woods you'd have never found it but it just happened to land on the trail."
He also noted how the UFO managed to descend through a gap in the trees without igniting a fire. Unheard as it landed, the object was discovered deep in the woods, explained Justin from The Glamping Collective.
"Once you get so far on that trail you don't really hear nothing in the woods," according to Justin. Since the discovery, he's been seeking aerospace experts to identify the UFO's origins.

It is not the first eerie sighting of an alleged UFO this year with a viral TikTok seen earlier this year leaving a pair stunned by a potential spacecraft. A local news station had been attempting to uncover the mystery of the UFO sighting. A collection of people were heard on the video wondering if it could be a shooting star but it was "moving too slowly" to be a natural space sighting.
"It's a shooting star!" exclaimed one of the children. "No, it's moving too slowly to be a shooting star," said an adult. "Is it a UFO?" "That is a UFO," claimed another child. Experts advises everyone to keep looking up until the object's origin is uncovered. "I'm just glad people are outside looking up at the sky," OU Aerospace professor Ken Carson said.
He added: "It looked like a normal ascent of a rocket with a booster separating staging. Its a new blast, if you will, of oxidized propellant, coming off the separation of that first stage."
