JKSC Football School hosts special training session at Polo Ground - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, May 25:  The JKSC Football School provided an exciting opportunity for young players today with a special training session held at the iconic Polo Ground in Srinagar.

The children had the privilege of honing their skills under the guidance of J&K football legend Danish Farooq, who is currently enrolled in an AIFF D License Coaching Course in the city.

   

The session was a resounding success, allowing the aspiring footballers to not only learn from Farooq’s wealth of experience but also benefit from the expertise of a complete batch of D License coaches participating as part of their course practical. Under the watchful eye of renowned FIFA/AIFF Coach Educator, Mr. Sajid Dar, the coaches provided valuable insights and training drills, fostering the development of the young talents. The highlight of the day was the presence of another legendary figure, Ishfaq Ahmad, whose attendance added an extra layer of inspiration for the children. The opportunity to train alongside such esteemed coaches created an electrifying atmosphere at the Polo Ground.

“It was a fantastic experience for the kids to learn from some of the best in the business,” said a representative from the JKSC Football School. “Seeing legends like Danish Farooq and Ishfaq Ahmad on the field was a dream come true for many of these aspiring footballers.” The training session not only provided valuable technical guidance but also instilled a sense of passion and determination in the young players. With such exposure to top-level coaching at a tender age, the future of J&K football looks promising.
