Election wrap: Lowest voter turnout in Phase-6, Amit Shah's UCC promise, and more

by · India Today

Welcome to today's election wrap. Six phases of Lok Sabha elections are over and we are less than 10 days away from the results. Phase-6, which concluded yesterday, saw the lowest voter turnout among all phases.

On the campaigning front, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the NDA will implement a nationwide Uniform Civil Code and bring 'One Nation, One Election' if it returns to power at the Centre.

Meanwhile, a BJP candidate in Odisha was arrested for allegedly vandalising an EVM as he had to wait in queue to cast his vote.

This, and more, in today's election wrap.
